Prince Harry, Meghan Markle To Star in Their Own ‘KUWTK’ Style Docu-Series [DETAILS]
It appears like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have more to offer in their Netflix partnership.
The streaming service will finally get its "pound of flesh" from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they feature in their own docuseries, "at-home style," according to Page Six.
The project is generating a lot of attention in Hollywood, but while Netflix executives want the show to debut before the end of the year, it can coexist with Prince Harry's widely anticipated memoir.
The pair, though, is claimed to be seeking to air it next year instead.
"The time is still being considered; things are up in the air," a producer with knowledge of the project said.
When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in the Netherlands last month for the Invictus Games, they were trailed by Netflix cameras and crew. They inked a multi-million dollar agreement with the platform in 2020 after relocating to the US.
It is a global game founded by the Duke of Sussex for wounded and injured UK servicemen and women. The documentary about the Games is titled as "Heart of Invictus."
In addition, Page Six said that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were being pursued for another "juicer" project.
Cameras were permitted behind the scenes at the $14 million Montecito mansion and even accompanied them on their vacation to New York City last September.
"I believe it's fair to say that Netflix is getting its pound of flesh," another insider told the site.
It is uncertain what will be included in their reality documentary series as of this writing, but since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived to the United States in March 2020, various headlines have broken down their ties with the British royal family.
Lilibet and Archie's parents travelled to the UK last month to meet the Queen ahead of her 96th birthday.
This was before to their departure for the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.
Prince Harry even mentioned that his grandmother was in good spirits during their visit and went on to say that he still cared about him and was there to make sure she was being taken care of.
It is also believed that the couple, together with their two children, will go to London next month to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.
