Amber Heard Plans To Bring Down Johnny Depp for the Last Time Through THIS [REPORT]
Amber Heard and her team would reportedly show their ace card to bring down Johnny Depp before the defamation trial ends.
Experts, so far, say that Depp has the edge in the ongoing legal battle against Heard. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor also receives unmatched support from fans who believe in him and his story.
While these things help him secure his win, Heard is said to be not accepting her defeat yet as she still has one last card to ruin Depp's reputation.
A source told Radar Online that the "Aquaman" actress and her legal team would call Depp back to the stand again.
OK Magazine noted that they want Depp to become the third witness to take the stand on May 23. After questioning him, an Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) expert and an anatomy expert would share their testimonies.
For the former prosecutor Neama Rahmani, Heard's plan is a surprising move. She alleged that the actress and her legal team want to take the chance to control the narrative before the closing arguments happen.
"We saw how charismatic Johnny was when he testified the first time around, so the last thing you want to do is give him a second opportunity to charm the jurors," she told EW. "This is Heard's chance to catch up ... The con is you're putting a hostile witness in your case-in-chief, so if you don't do a good job, that may undermine your whole case."
Although this is a risky strategy for her, Rahmani said it would be okay since she almost has nothing to lose.
Amber Heard's Risky Move Explored
Heard seemingly became more desperate after Mission NGO, a domestic abuse organization, showed its support for Depp.
In a newly released statement, the organization's president said that women have the duty to educate the children to prevent violence against people of any gender.
"In deep respect of the victims of domestic abuses that we have to affirm for intellectual honesty are, generally, WOMEN, we feel to express, as women, as mothers, as free thinkers, our compassion for Johnny Depp in this bad page of his personal history," it continued.
More celebrities also publicly announced that they are siding with Depp in this battle.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's defamation trial is expected to reach the closing agreements on May 27.
