Kourtney Kardashian Marries Travis Barker but Fans Aren’t Happy – Here’s Why
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker married for the third time on Sunday, May 22 in Portofino, Italy.
This lavish wedding happened after the couple exchanged vows in Las Vegas and in a Santa Monica courtroom.
The 43-year-old reality personality and her 46-year-old musician husband exchanged vows over the weekend, surrounded by family and friends.
The mother-of-three donned a cathedral veil and a short lace Dolce & Gabbana gown and as expected, Kourtney's family also stole the event in gorgeous gowns that rivaled the bride's.
Kris Jenner accompanied her oldest daughter down the aisle in a pink gown, while Kourtney held a tiny arrangement of red and white roses.
The ceremony was conducted at Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's estate, and the reception was hosted in an entire castle called Castello Brown.
According to reports, the entire property was laid out and adorned by planners and designers, with 24-hour security on duty days before the big event.
Alabama Barker, Kourtney's stepdaughter, was the first to share photos from the wedding ceremony.
Machine Gun Kelly, who took a boat to the event, was among the celebrities that arrived.
While Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, and their family and friends are overjoyed that they are now husband and wife, many social media users are not.
Fans Not Happy Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker Married
Fans on Twitter aired out their frustration and annoyance that Kourtney Kardashian married Travis Barker.
Some of them think that the musician is "controlling" of his now-wife and has extremely changed the Poosh creator's style "from classy to grunge."
Others felt sorry for the kids, Mason, Penelope, and Reign because since their mom started dating Travis last year, many thought they were being neglected.
"Kourtney and Scott [Disick] prioritized 'family time' with dinners and vacations up until Travis. They were best friends until very recently. I feel bad for the kids."
Another person asked, "What must her kids be dealing with? She's changed so much!"
Meanwhile, it doesn't seem like Kourtney changed Travis, but it's the other way around.
In a Vanity Fair interview, Travis Barker said that he was just fine being single and knowing he would be single for the rest of his life.
But then Kourtney reportedly "expanded" his world.
"I found the love of my life. She's cured me. It feels like I'm living again."
