[VIDEO] Amber Heard CRIES Again While Taking the Stand; Testifies Over Death Threats
Before the closing arguments, Amber Heard shed tears in the courtroom - again.
After her initial dramatic testimonies, Heard returned to the stand as a rebuttal witness and talked about the experiences she has been going through since the trial began last month.
The "Aquaman" actress revealed she suffered publicly and has been continuously receiving death threats because of the case.
"I am harassed, humiliated, threatened every single day - even just walking into this courtroom [and] sitting here in front of the world, having the worst parts of my life things I've lived through used to humiliate me," the emotional Heard said.
She added that people around her directly tell her they would kill her. She also mentioned that the public threatened to put her baby inside the microwave.
Heard called the events something agonizing and humiliating as the campaign against her online unceasingly grows.
According to the actress, she has received hundreds of death threats regularly and suffered mockery due to her testimonies about being assaulted.
In the end, she expressed her hopes that no one would go through the same path she went through, saying that she only wanted Depp to leave her alone.
Heard had four days of initial deposition and repeatedly said her op-ed is not about Depp. However, Camille Vasquez successfully made her confess that the article was about the actor.
Johnny Depp Calls Amber Heard's Allegations "Ridiculous, Humiliating"
Like Heard, Depp also returned to the stand and countered Heard's claims.
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor accused Heard of taking the story about Kate Moss' incident and turning it into a very ugly accident in her mind.
"I remember speaking to Ms. Heard about that incident and I recalled the story to her. Ms. Heard took the story and turned it into a very ugly incident all in her mind. There was never a moment where I pushed Kate down any set of stairs, yet [Heard's] spewed this three times before," he said.
Indeed, Kate Moss debunked the claims in her deposition and said Depp never pushed, kicked, or threw him down any stairs. Instead, the actor helped her when she slid down and hurt her back.
Depp is suing his ex-wife over 2018 The Washington Post op-ed in which Heard said she was a domestic violence survivor. She did not mention the actor's name, but Depp believes it caused him to lose his major roles and franchises.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are expected to have their closing arguments on Friday, May 27.
