Lollapalooza 2013: Nine Inch Nails, Lana Del Rey and More Performance VIDEO Highlights
Day one of the three-day annual music festival Lollapalooza is over and apparently it was one for the books.
Spin.com reported today they believed the best moment from the kick off day was band Nine Inch Nail's performance. It was reportedly the band's first American show in 3 years, and they kept the fans happy by playing their popular hits in new ways.
They also had a light show that the publication said was more like a shadow show letting the audience see the musicians silhouettes as they played. (Watch video of the band below.)
Another big moment of the night was reportedly when Lana Del Rey played. Excited young girls were reportedly sporting flowers crowns as they watched their idol perform.
"The polarizing pop ingénue took the stage looking like vintage Cher in a flowing, blood red gown with golden bodice and nearly black hair, looking very Bob Mackie-does-Grecian-goddess," spin.com wrote in their article about the singer.
Her fans reportedly scream and sang along to every song the Summertime Sadness singer performed.
Swedish pop group Icona Pop also reportedly had a memorable performance. The duo dressed in shiny dresses and even broke out a kazoo at one point during their set. Their hit I Love It is played basically every five minutes on the radio this summer, so it's no surprise that the crowd reportedly went crazy when the group sang that one. They also sang a new song Then We Kiss.
