Earlier today, Variety reported that Queer Eye's Antoni Porowski will be hosting an Easy-Bake Oven-centered cooking competition for Netflix called Easy-Bake Battle. Hasbro - the company that made the iconic Easy-Bake Oven that was discontinued as of May 2017 - is producing the show.

Variety describes the show:

"Inspired by the popular children's toy, 'Easy-Bake Battle' spotlights home chefs who go head-to-head in two rounds of savory and sweet challenges using only an Easy-Bake-style oven.

"Adult cooks - unlike the miniature kitchen appliance, this competition series is not suited for children - will compete for $25,000 in each battle. The winner has the chance to win up to $100,000."

Easy-Bake Battle will be Porowski's first major project outside of the hugely successful Queer Eye that made all five cast members household names. On Queer Eye, Porowski is the expert in charge of teaching the show's heroes how to cook better for their lifestyle.

Netflix's VP of nonfiction content, Jenn Levy, said of Porowski:

"We got to know Antoni on 'Queer Eye,' and we always knew there was more to do with him. He makes food super accessible."
