Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton’s Body Language Examined During Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
Despite the fact that Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her Platinum Jubilee, all eyes are on the British royal family, particularly the two Duchesses, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
Despite her absence from the balcony for Trooping the Color on Thursday, the Duchess of Sussex and her husband, Prince Harry, were joined by the entire family for the memorable event.
Many assumed it would be unpleasant for them following months or even years of icy ties between the Sussexes and the rest of The Firm, particularly after the couple's famous Oprah appearance, but a body language expert recently confirmed that this was not the case.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not formally present at the event on June 1, but they did observe it from an office with other junior royals.
Judi James told The Mirror that the former "Suits" actress was "in her element" as she chatted with Zara Tindall's children.
The 40-year-old mother was seen reaching down to talk with the children and humorously shushing them while the festivities were taking place outdoors.
From a distance, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were "relaxed and happy" in their "low-key appearance that seemed far more to their preferences than earlier, uncomfortable, strained outings" with the rest of the monarchy, according to James.
"Her adoring glance at Harry established some solid continuity with the couple's more public PDAs, and the fun they were having appeared a world apart from some of the more tense-looking expressions from the top-level royals out on the balcony as they 'watched the fly-past," the analyst noted.
Meanwhile, James reports a very different Kate Middleton, who was spotted on the Buckingham Palace balcony with the Queen.
According to the expert, the Duchess of Cambridge appeared more "serious" than her sister-in-law.
She described the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as having serious looks on their faces while putting their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, into place before standing separate from their mother, guaranteeing a "fair distribution of parental direction."
The Cambridge youngsters, on the other hand, were the stars of the show.
Princess Charlotte once prevented her younger brother, Prince Louis, from waving at passersby as they drove in a carriage to Buckingham Palace.
Despite having his hand on his lap, Prince Louis began waving again while his elder brothers rested.
Before the epidemic, the whole British royal family gathered to wave to the audience from Buckingham Palace in 2019.
