The deluxe album of Bo Burnham's Netflix special Inside has officially been released, featuring a whopping 45 songs from both Inside and Inside the Outtakes.
Just slightly over a year ago, Bo Burnham released his comedy special Inside. The Netflix special featured an hour's worth of songs that focused on the pandemic, the pandemic experience, and the unique psychosis of the human condition over these last few, unprecedented years.
The songs became instant hits, and fans of Burnham's felt seen. At a time when we were all (pun very much intended) stuck inside, it was nice to feel connected over a shared human experience.
On Memorial Day of 2022, one year after the original special came out on Netflix. Burnham made a surprise release on YouTube. He released Inside the Outtakes.
This featured a second hour of material that had been cut from the Netflix special. An equal level of excitement was felt by fans as they binged this extra hour of excellence.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
Today, the deluxe version of the album Inside was released on Spotify. This new album has all of the original hits from the Netflix special, alongside all of those that were featured on Inside the Outtakes.
Such new additions include instant fan favorites such as "Triggered" and "Peanut Butter." Overall, the album features an impressive 45 songs, running at one hour and thirty minutes.
Now we can listen to all of Inside and Inside the Outtakes, while we are outside or inside! (But Bo is repeatedly urging us to stay inside.)
