Teresa Giudice: Marriage Means for Better or For Worse; 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Star's 2011 Interview Surfaces
Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe Giudice are facing the reality that they could spend up to 50 years in jail if found guilty of fraud. But the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is going to stand by her man.
An interview from 2011 has surfaced online, in which Teresa gushed about her hubby and why she'd stand by him -- "for better or for worse."
Speaking to InTouch about renewing their vows, Teresa revealed: "Marriage means for better or for worse. We've been through a lot, and if anything, it's just made us stronger."
"I wanted to show my girls that marriage is really important, as is being faithful to one another," said Teresa. "I wanted to show our love for each other - I wanted them there to witness it."
The couple renewed their vows in a lavish, princess-themed ceremony designed to delight their four little girls. She held the "fairy-tale-themed second wedding" at Long Island's Oheka Castle, which featured a horse-drawn carriage and tearful vows.
Teresa wore what was described as an "extravagant" gown, while the girls were decked out in hand-picked pretty pink dresses.
The reality star ended the interview, admitting every relationship has rough spots.
"I don't think divorce is an option, unless it's over something horrible like cheating," she said. "Not every day is perfect, but you try to make it as perfect as you can."
Melissa Gorga: Teresa Giudice and I Shouldn't Gossip Behind Each Other's Backs
On July 29, Teresa and Joe were charged in a 39-count indictment with conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bank fraud, making false statements on loan applications and bankruptcy fraud. The couple were accused of exaggerating their income while applying for loans before their TV show debuted in 2009 -- then hiding how well they were doing in a bankruptcy filing after their first season aired.
Following her court appearance, Teresa broke her silence via Twitter.
"Thank you all so so much for your love and support. It means the world to me and my family," she wrote. "I wish I could hug you all right now."
If convicted, the Giudices -- parents to daughters Gia, 12, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 7, and Audriana, 3 -- face more than 50 years in prison.

During the court hearing on July 30, it was revealed that Joe is not a legal U.S. citizen. If Joe is found guilty, he could be deported to Italy.
The Giudices were each released on $500,000 unsecured bail bonds. They surrendered their passports, and they are not allowed to leave New York or New Jersey until their next hearing, which is scheduled for Aug. 14.
