Prince Albert 'Hurt' Due to Malicious Comments on Princess Charlene's Health
Prince Albert, Princess Charlene's husband, opened up about the pain they went through due to damaging rumors about his wife and her health.
In the past months, Princess Charlene has been trying to get back up again after a difficult year. She has been coping with everything again with the help of her husband, Prince Albert.
Now, the royal prince sat for an interview with Journal de Dimanche and revealed that everything that happened in the past year tested him, his wife, and their children.
For what it's worth, the royal princess faced alarming health issues while visiting South Africa. Her supposed 10-day tour became months due to a previous ENT procedure she went through.
She faced another issue again when he came back to Monaco, leading to her absence once again.
According to Prince Albert, the family missed Princess Charlene a lot. Still, things remind him of how painful the malicious allegations were months ago.
"We were obviously hurt by the malicious rumors that were peddled. But we were able to stay united despite the distance. We spoke to each other often," he said. "Today, Charlene is back with us and this is the most beautiful thing which could have happened."
Prince Albert assured the royal fans that Princess Charlene now feels a lot better, so they can finally spend time again together.
His statement resonated with what the princess said during Monaco Fashion Week when she addressed both her own health and that of her marital status.
According to her, her health remains fragile, but she felt calmer on that day.
