Johnny Depp Escorted By Security Out of UK Hotel -- Was He Drunk Or Just Mobbed By Fans?
Johnny Depp was hauled out of a hotel by security on Monday.
But it wasn't because he was drunk or high.
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor was led away from the throngs of admirers who had been following him since his shocking defamation trial finished last week.
Page Six received photos of the 56-year-old actor being led out of The Grand Hotel Birmingham in the United Kingdom while clutching his coffee mug. The photos quickly went viral.
His security team, according to an insider, kept him secure and away from the "large masses."
"He is swamped by admirers everywhere he goes," they continued.
In the photos, Johnny Depp appeared disturbed as he was led out of the fancy hotel, with one guy holding his arm and another standing closely behind them.
The actor looked dapper in a black-and-white checkered sport coat, black pants, and black shoes, which he accessorized with unkempt hair, sunglasses, and a scar.
However, only hours before leaving the hotel, Depp reportedly spent more than $62,000 on a spectacular Indian feast for himself and his entourage of roughly 20 people.
The celebration meal in Varanasi included not just traditional Indian fare but also limitless martini beverages and Rosé wine.
According to the Daily Mail, Depp and his entourage paused for photos with admirers before entering the popular eatery.
Jeff Beck was among those who celebrated with him and his triumph. He has joined Beck onstage at some of his recent gigs after arriving in the UK.
Johnny Depp TikTok
Meanwhile, Johnny Depp joined TikTok and thanked his followers for their support in his first post, emphasizing that he wished to put the trial behind him and go on with his life.
He stated, "We've been everywhere and seen everything together. We have traveled the same path. We all did the right thing because you cared."
However, not everyone is pleased with his TikTok debut, particularly ex-wife Amber Heard.
In a statement to People magazine, a spokeswoman for the "Aquaman" actress stated that while Depp is "going forward," "woman's rights are sliding backward."
In her speech following her heartbreaking court loss last week, the 36-year-old actress also addressed the future of women's rights.
"I'm heartbroken that despite the pile of evidence, my ex-disproportionate husband's power, influence, and sway could not be overcome."
She intends to appeal the verdict since she is unable to pay the $10.35 million in damages to her ex-husband.
