Demi Lovato Gets Honest In New Pop-Punk Track "Skin of My Teeth"
Demi Lovato has just released a new music video, and it is EPIC!
At midnight, Demi Lovato released a new song and music video titled "Skin of My Teeth" that strikes a beautiful chord of honesty and openess.
The song is an autiobiographical retelling of Lovato's real life expereinces and struggles, including their time in rehab grappling with addiction. The lyrics are incredibly honest, in a raw and real way.
The song opens with the lyrics, "Demi leaves rehab again, when is this s*** gonna end?" It carries on with a driving pop-punk force that speaks to the popular pop-punk sound of the early 2000s.
Pop-punk is back, and Demi Lovato is on the front lines.
The release of the single comes just two short months before the full album is scheduled to drop. Lovato's upcoming album, Holy Fvck, will be released on August 19th of this year.
The star shared in a statement that:
"The process of making this album has been the most fulfilling yet, and I'm grateful to my fans and collaborators for being on this journey with me. Never have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself.

Lovato went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night and performed the TV debut of the song.
