Amber Heard Net Worth NEGATIVE: Actress 'Poorer' After Losing Defamation Trial
Amber Heard's net worth already saw financial damage after losing against Johnny Depp.
Heard, who is never as in-demand as Depp, only enjoyed an $8 million net worth this year, and it plummeted to $2 million before the defamation trial reached the verdict. The Hollywood actress became part of various films, "Alpha Dog," "Side FX," "You Are Here," "Drop Dead Sexy," "Price to Pay," and "Drop Dead Sexy."
However, almost all of her works got bombarded with negative reviews.
As she is expected to pay Depp $10.35 million in compensatory and punitive damages, Amber Heard's net worth in 2022 is now assumed to be a negative amount.
The Celebrity Net Worth's website has since updated her information and revealed that her net worth would be down to -$6 million if Depp chooses not to spare her from the damages.
However, nothing has been finalized yet as everyone needs to wait until June 24. On that day, Judge Penney Azcarete is expected to issue an instruction with regard to the verdict.
The weeks starting June 1 allow both Depp and Heard to reach a hypothetical settlement agreement, and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor has the power to waive it and save her finances.
Will Johnny Depp Help Amber Heard?
Despite being subject to whopping financial damages, the "Aquaman" actress recently spent her money recklessly by riding on a private plane before riding her luxurious SUV.
The move instantly got into the nerves of Depp's fans despite the fact that Heard seemingly had no choice but to take a private plane as she might definitely encounter the actor's supporters anywhere she goes.
But Heard could spend her fortune in any way that she wanted as Depp's lawyer Benjamin Chew hinted that the actor would agree to a settlement where Heard agrees not to file an appeal.
Chew told "Good Morning America" host George Stephanopoulos that the actor would waive the monetary damages if she would not push through with an appeal.
"We obviously can't disclose any attorney-client communications, but as Mr. Depp testified and as we both made clear in our respective closings, this was never about money for him. This was about restoring his reputation, and he's done that," the attorney went on.
However, fans disagreed with the plans and asked Depp to make Heard learn her lessons.
