Chewy is Trending on Twitter for the SWEETEST Reason!

Some companies still know how to have heart.
A sweet story started spreading on Twitter today. It starts off sad: A woman's dog passed away, and the woman was left with items she no longer had use for.
One thing she was left with was an unopened bag of dog food from the company Chewy. The woman contacted the company to see if she would be able to return the food.
Chewy managed to do even better. She took to Twitter to explain the company's compassionate response.
"I contacted @Chewy last week to see if I could return an unopened bag of my dog's food after he died. They 1) gave me a full refund, 2) told me to donate the food to the shelter, and 3) had flowers delivered today with the gift note signed by the person I talked to."

This just goes to show that small actions of kindness and compassion go a long way, because Twitter has exploded with an outpouring of sympathies for the lost dog, and noted approval for Chewy's response.
Some have even come out and shared their own, similar stories. One user replied:
"Chewy is a phenomenal company, when my dog passed away this last February they sent us a hand painted portrait of her that has sat on her ashes ever since. Much love!"

This was not the only portrait story that has come from Chewy. Another Twitter user shared:
"My hubby used to work for @Chewy and he always raved about their customer service. They sent us a small painting of my Simba when he passed. I'm sorry for your loss."
We love to hear stories of kindness come to the forefront in today's world. More companies should be like this!
