Amber Heard Still Wants To Be In Johnny Depp’s Life, Expert Says
A psychologist believes Amber Heard is openly speaking following her humiliating court defeat for one reason.
Cooper Lawrence, a psychologist and podcaster, believes the "Aquaman" actress' 2018 op-ed piece in The Washington Post and her recent interview with Savannah Guthrie are part of her efforts to stay in Johnny Depp's life.
On Australia's "Sunrise," the expert discussed the actress's "whole purpose behind this," saying that when they separated in 2017, it was Heard who announced things were done, even publicly expressing her want to move on.
However, the expert pointed out that Heard authored the disputed post and even began "poking the bear" because "she still wants him in her life - even if negatively."
Lawrence said, " And here she is again. It's not healthy. They have a toxic relationship, and she wants to continue it.
Several people accused Heard of inventing everything during her emotional testimony about the alleged abuse she received at the hands of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star during the six-week trial.
But the psychologist, on the other hand, believes Depp's purported motives are not repaid.
She said that the veteran actor doesn't want anything to do with his ex-wife since Heard is simply "trying to garner his attention."
But there's bad news for Heard: Lawrence feels "it's not going to work this time."
Amber Heard Hopes Trial Means Something To Her Daughter Oonagh
Amber Heard told Savannah Guthrie in the same interview that she is relieved the trial is finished. She can now devote her full attention to her 14-month-old daughter, Oonagh Paige.
She also hopes that her courtroom drama will "mean something" to her kid when she grows older.
In her interview, Heard called the ruling a "setback" for women and expressed concern that it might silence many more survivors who were hoping to present their allegations.
Amber Heard told Guthrie that she now has the opportunity to be a "full-time mom."
When asked if she would tell her kid about the trial and everything she had gone through, the "Rum Diaries" actress replied, "I think it will mean something no matter what."
"I made the correct decision. I did all in my power to defend myself and the truth."
