Wendy Williams Claims Show Is Not Ending, Calls Production Company ‘Liar’
Wendy Williams has everyone confused after denying to many individuals that "The Wendy Williams Show" is ending on Friday.
According to a source who spoke to The Sun, once the production firm revealed that this Friday's broadcast would be the final one, the former talk show host vehemently refuted the news.
Despite Debmar Mercury's announcement that "The Wendy Williams Show" will air its final episode at the end of the week, "as of last night, Wendy is privately assuring her close pals that the announcement is untrue."
The former radio personality, 56, is characterized as "totally and completely denial," and if you spoke to her, "you wouldn't know what to think either" because "that's how in denial she is."
A close friend of Williams attempted to arrange plans with her after the program airs on Friday, as it would signal the end of her 13-year career on television; however, she allegedly informed them, "'No, I'm too busy!' That is a deception "about the announcement made by her former producing firm
According to the insider, the beleaguered star is unable to accept that her time on television is over and that even Debmar Mercury is done with her.
"Wendy isn't in a show. She doesn't have a boss. And she is still incapable of appearing on television."
Meanwhile, a second source told the site earlier this week that Wendy Williams was requested to participate in the final episode, which will run on Friday, but she declined to have a taped farewell played on the show.
According to the source, Williams is not "at peace" with what transpired and does not blame herself for what happened, instead blaming others.
'The Wendy Williams Show' Ending
All of this drama comes after a representative for "The Wendy Williams Show" stated that there will be no more seasons or episodes after this Friday.
While her chat show has concluded, guest presenter Sherri Shepherd is taking up her schedule and will even have her own program dubbed "Sherri."
Wendy Williams quit television to concentrate on her health difficulties, which included Grave's disease, addiction, and COVID-19.
Despite the hurdles, Williams has stated that she would return to television in the coming months. Fans, on the other hand, will have to wait and see.
