'Solar Opposites' Season 3 Trailer Gives Fans A Look At What Happened and What's to Come When It Returns To Hulu In July
Hulu has dropped the Season 3 trailer for Solar Opposites and the wacky aliens will be riding in style.
Created by Rick and Morty's Justin Roiland and Mike McMagan, Solar Opposites follows the exploits of a team of aliens posing as a family, who are sent to Earth on a mission to find a better planet only to find themselves in a constant debate over whether life here is better or worse. Voiced by Roiland, Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley), Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs), and Mary Mack, the show has all of the high brow, yet, crass humor one would expect from a show from the crew who made Rick and Morty.
Collider premiered the Season 3 trailer, which works as both a recap of the previous seasons as well as a glimpse into what we can expect from the upcoming episodes. This new season One of the big additions being added this time around is "next level ship." Hopefully, Tiffany Haddish will return as the voice of the A.I. computer.
According to the plot synopsis, fans can expect the aliens to become "less of a team and more of a family."
In the past, the show pointed out the everyday lives of humans, but seen through the eyes of the aliens, who are puzzled by our customs only to embrace them with hysterical results. Always pushing the boundaries of good taste, one of the more brilliant B Plots involve a human ant farm, which is inhabited by shrunken down, kidnapped humans who have started a new society that reflects the volatile nature of a desperate humanity.
It's funnier than it sounds. We swear.
Solar Opposites Season 3 premieres on Hulu beginning July 13.
