Back to the Future may be taking the DeLorean all the way to Broadway.

Back to the Future is a well-known film known for being a 1980s cinematic classic. From its many sequels to its culture references - such as the hilarious joke in John Mulaney's special The Comeback Kid - the film has proven to have lasting potential that remains relevant and interesting to the modern day.

Now Marty McFly and Dr. Emmet Brown may be embarking on another adventure: Broadway.

The musical adaptation of Back to the Future has been teased for the 2023 Broadway season.

The show has thus far been running on the Adelphi Theatre on the West End.

The Back to the Future Twitter account sent out a post that read, "Synchronize your watches-- The future is coming to Broadway in 2023!!! Sign up to be the first to buy tickets."

With that Tweet, we can be pretty certain that the show will be making its way to New York City. The teaser trailer that was attached to the Tweet proudly read, "Be the first to buy tickets. Sign up yesterday."

Well, with modern technology the way it is, we may have to sign up today, but hopefully that will do!

The West End production of the show is still currently in the midst of a successful run. Their curtain went up back in September of 2021, and it is set to come down in October of 2022.

We will have to wait and see whether this same success can be met across the pond! We will keep you up to date with more information as it comes to light.
