Jamie Lee Curtis is back at it again. After her brilliant performance in the hit film Everything Everywhere All At Once, the actress and icon is taking on new and exciting challenges.
According to an exclusive with Deadline, the star is partnering with Blumhouse in order to develop the book Paradise: One Town's Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire into a movie. The book was written by Lizzie Johnson. It is a touching and powerful first hand recollection of the incredibly deadly wildfire, California's Camp Fire.
California's Camp Fire was the deadliest wildfire to be seen in a century. The recollection alone gives a powerful warning about the troubles the world faces in regards to climate change. In making the novel into a film, the team is striving to get this important message to as many people as possible. Curtis herself reflected:
