Leslie Jordan is a legend in show business as he worked on several Broadway shows, TV series, and movies throughout his decades-long career. However, there was a time that he didn't recognize a co-star while working on set.

Speaking to Fancy Hagood of Trailblazers Radio, the 67-year-old actor shared a hilarious story while filming Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story: Roanoke."

Jordan played the role of Cricket Marlowe on the show along with Oscar-winning actress/singer Lady Gaga.

On the first day, he showed up, and a woman was standing on set. The production asked him if he had already met Stefani.

The actor thought the girl was an extra because he didn't know who she was, so he just introduced himself by saying, "Nice to meet you. Welcome aboard."

Little did he know, Lady Gaga was Stefani.

"They could tell I didn't know, they go, 'Leslie, that's Gaga.' I go, 'Huh-uh.' They said, 'Yes, it's Gaga.' And she was just adorable," he added. (via Entertainment Weekly)

This isn't the first time Jordan opened up about a hilarious experience while filming the show with the singer, as he previously recalled a funny story before the cameras rolled.

In his "Pillow Talk" Instagram series, Jordan revealed he had a scene with Lady Gaga where she would blow fairy dust in his face before cutting him with a knife.

Before filming the scene, the Grammy Award-winning songwriter took him to the woods and told him that she tend to sexualize all her acting partners.

"I thought, 'Where's this going?' Well honey, she kicked me, rolled me over, and got down on me and started riding me... I didn't know what I was supposed to do! I just laid there and thought, 'How do I get myself into these situations?'" he hilariously said.

Before the "Roanoke" season, Lady Gaga made her acting debut on the fifth season of "AHS" titled "Hotel."

Although she studied acting in college, the singer set her dreams aside to pursue music until 2015.

The show became successful as it became FX's highest-rated show that year.

Speaking to Billboard, Mother Monster said working on the show with Murphy is a "destiny."

After working with Gaga, the producer also expressed his sentiments, saying she's one of the most talented people in the world.

After playing the role, Lady Gaga won the Golden Globe award for Best Actress.
