Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart Dog Custody Battle After Split, Headed To Court?
Kristen Stewart is reportedly considering taking her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson to court to get sole custody of the two dogs they've share since their mid-May split.
The former couple currenly share two mixed-breed dogs, Bear and Bernie, which they acquired during their four-year relationship. According to a source, Stewart became so upset when she learned Pattinson left the two pooches with a friend when he went to Toronto to film Maps To The Stars, she sought legal advice.
"Things have gotten pretty nasty between Rob and Kristen in recent weeks," a source reportedly told Grazia magazine. "And since Kristen found out Rob has left the dogs with a friend, she's seeking lawyers' advice on getting sole custody."
The insider said Stewart learned that custody would not be cheap. "She's been warned it could cost up to $100,000 in legal fees," the source revealed.
Daily Star reported on June 13 that Stewart thinks that they should take one dog each.
"Kristen thinks they should have one each," a source told the Daily Star, who added, "She's missing the dogs like mad but doesn't want the situation to turn nasty."
Grazia's source said Stewart may be acting out of jealousy. She reportedly became upset when she heard Pattinson was dating her The Runways co-star Riley Keough.
"She was gutted when she found out about Rob and Riley," the insider explained.
"Kristen has started sending friends to pick up the dogs - she couldn't face seeing Rob," the source added, "No one knows how they're going to work this out or where the dogs will end up."
When Pattinson moved his things out of Stewart's Loz Feliz home on May 19, he was photographed driving away with Bear and Bernie, who were inside his pickup truck alongside him.

Enstars reported that Pattinson was romantically linked to actress/model Keough, 23. Her late grandfather is the deceased rock and roll icon Elvis Presley. She starred alongside Stewart and Dakota Fanning in the Joan Jett biopic, 2010's The Runaways.
Pattinson was later spotted kissing Caitlin Cronenberg in Toronto last month. Her father is David Cronenberg who directed him in Maps To The Stars last month and last year's Cosmopolis.
