Josh Gad Heartbreak: 'Olaf' Voice Actor's Nephew Dead at 20, Investigation Ongoing
The 20-year-old nephew of "Frozeon" actor Josh Gad has passed away in his sleep.
On June 26, Gad himself delivered the devastating news.
As a memorial to his late nephew, Gad, 41, posted a series of photographs of Marco online.
It is unknown when Marco perished.
In his heartbreaking Instagram post, Gad said, "Today I write this with a broken heart. Our beloved nephew Marco has left us far too early. At 20 years old he was full of possibly (sic) and promise. To say he is gone far too soon does not do justice to the life force that he was."
Gad described Marco as a "brilliant, creative and loving" soul.
Online, many of condolences have poured into the Gad's family. Even other actors gave their heartfelt condolences.
Bradley Whitford, who starred in The West Wing, stated, "Love, love, love to all of you, Josh. May his memory remain ever blessed.

The actor is a master at lending his voice to Disney films, which is why few might recognize him in the flesh.
In a recent interview, Josh Gad has revealed whether "Frozen 3" is likely. Disney has been particularly silent but the actor bravely put it out there that it might not happen. He said there must be a clear purpose for "Frozen 3" to exist for it to occur. He continued by saying that at the time of the interview in 2021, the team did not have any ideas for a new installment, but they would jump at the chance once they did.
In another interview, the actor also downplayed the history he has made. Supposedly. As Gaston's smarmy henchman LeFou in 2017's Beauty and the Beast, the actor, comedian, and voice of Frozen's Olaf was a part of Disney's first "exclusively gay moment," in the director's words.
But for the actor, this was nothing. It was just two-second dance with another man that was neither exclusive (it was a mob scene) nor very homosexual (the two men could easily have been friends). After 90 years of Disney neglecting gays and lesbians, this was miniscule, he said.
