Devin Booker is doing "everything he can" to win Kendall Jenner back after their dramatic breakup last week.

Friends of the 25-year-old NBA star speculate that he may even propose to the 26-year-old supermodel if he succeeds in healing their two-year relationship that broke all of a sudden.

If this is true, this would be a significant move for him given that Kendall dumped him because they couldn't agree on how to go with their romance.

According to a source close to the basketball star, it's like they just met, he's wooing her again with flowers and a Malibu trip to SoHo House. Her breakup with him seemed to have been a wake-up call for him. "She didn't do it to play games or screw with his head, but it clearly drew his attention," the insider said.

Because he doesn't want to lose her, a lot of people in her circle believe that he will propose.

Friends close to Kendall and Devin believe they won't be apart for long, even if they don't exchange rings. "Their pals all keep saying how they're just waiting for them to get back together," a second insider revealed to Hollywood Life. As one put it, "They haven't given up hope that Kendall and Devin will be together forever."

Kendall and Devin broke up after their time together at Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's Italian wedding. Allegedly, the supermodel didn't think he was taking the relationship as seriously as she did.

Another insider close to the couple revealed that Kendall believed it would be "very sweet" to bring him to Kourtney's wedding. But to her dismay, the athlete appeared unmoved by the "love and romantic element of it," and this felt like a sign to Kendall that he's not the right guy for her. This was not quite reported when the wedding took place. In fact, Screen Rant said the wedding just brought the couple back then, so much closer to each other.

Kendall was also concerned about their shared future plans, or lack thereof. She may not be ready to settle down and have children just yet, but according to the insider, it's something she plans to do in the future. When it became evident that Devin was not on the same page by stressing that he has much more in his life to do, the model was forced to think ahead and disregard her emotions.

She had a "lightbulb moment" and is realizing that even if they had a successful run, it is not what she wants.
