LeBron James just wants to be a normal person and took to his Facebook account to vent about being in the spotlight.

The two-time NBA basketball champion spoke about how difficult it is to go out in public when you're a celebrity.

"Man it's hard to go out and have a good time these days! It's cool though, it's part of my life. Wouldn't change anything (just saying). Been in the spotlight since I was 15. Sometimes u just wanna STOP!! But I refuse cause I have a commitment to the youth to inspire them!! That will keep me pushing forward and focused alone," the Miami Heat superstar said.

It is unclear who or what James was referring to, but he posted the same exact message on his Twitter account.

James made recent headlines after reports indicated that he was considering running for NBPA president to replace the outgoing Derek FIsher. Sources said the MVP is mulling a bid for the union's presidency.

"It's something he has talked about with a small group of people," a source with close ties to James told FOXSports.com on Wednesday. "He was very vocal at the meeting during the All-Star Weekend about the need for the union to dramatically change. There is a new executive director coming in and new commissioner. He recognizes that this is the time for the union to change."

Off the court, James is gearing up to wed to his highschool sweetheart and mother of his two sons, Savannah Brinson.

The couple currently lives in Coconut Grove, a Miami suburb. James proposed to Brinson at a New Year's party in 2012 where he was also celebrating his 27th birthday.

Brinson and James have reportedly planned to get married in San Diego in September.

Back in March, TMZ obtained a "Save The Date" that consisted of information that instructed guests to keep the three days open for the celebration set to take place sometimes between Sept. 13 and Sept. 15.
