Miles Bridges Under Fire After Wife Unveiled THESE Shocking Photos
Miles Bridges faced the public's wrath after his wife, Mychelle Johnson, shared "proof" that he abused her multiple times.
Bridges' wife took her time to publicly speak about the domestic abuse she suffered from and uploaded photos of the horrifying injuries she sustained.
Johnson shared them on her Instagram, telling her followers she could not be silent anymore.
"I hate that it has come to this but I can't be silent anymore. I've allowed someone to destroy my home, abuse me in every way possible and traumatize our kids for life," she said.
The photos showed bruises on her face, arms, back, hands, and legs. In addition, she suffered a fractured nose and wrist and torn eardrum. The muscles in her neck were also torn after Bridges choked her until she fell asleep.
Johnson noted that she always had hope that something would change. But despite her fears, she realized that it was time for her to stand up and share the truth.
Instead of protecting Bridges' image, the matriarch chose to value herself and her kids.
To prove her claims, the matriarch attached a medical report in which she was called a "victim of abuse by a male partner." The official medical document disclosed that she had several injuries, including "assault by strangulation, brain concussion, closed fracture of the nasal bone, contusion of rib, multiple bruises, and strain of neck muscle."
Bridges and Johnson started dating in 2016 and currently share two children - Ace Miles and Ayla Marie.
At the end of her post, Johnson clarified that she came forward to prevent "this person" from abusing someone again.
Miles Bridges Arrested
Johnson's shocking statement came days after the NBA star was arrested for a felony. It was the wrong timing for him as the arrest happened before the NBA free agency.
According to Los Angeles Times, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said that he was arrested on a warrant. Meanwhile, CBS Sports confirmed that Bridges was released after posting a $130,000 bail.
He will face the court again on July 20 in Los Angeles.
Following the arrest, Bridges' team Charlotte Hornets released a statement regarding the situation.
"The Charlotte Hornets are aware of the situation involving Miles Bridges. We are in the process of gathering additional information. We have no further comment at this time," it went on.
