New details about the deaths of model Christy Giles and her friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola have been publicized months after their bodies were dumped in front of two separate hospitals.

Los Angeles Times reported that the prosecutors reached a verdict and charged producer David Pearce and actor Brandt Osborn with the murders of Giles and Cabrales-Arzola. It came after the Los Angeles Police Department disclosed the arrests of the two suspects and Michael Ansbach.

Pearce was charged with manslaughter, while Osborn was accused of being accessory to manslaughter. Meanwhile, Michael Ansbach was still arrested due to suspicion of being an accessory, as well.

Osborn and Ansbach were later released as they were not yet charged at that time. But Pearce stayed behind the bars due to other charges, including sexually assaulting four women between 2010 and 2020.

The police alleged that they were the three masked men who dropped Giles and Cabrales-Arzola at different hospitals last year. Both of them were unconscious but eventually died.

"Pearce and Osborn had driven the unconscious women to the hospitals, claiming to be good Samaritans who found them passed out on a curb," a detective's affidavit disclosed, per The Sun.

The recent development came months after Carly Amos and Jan Cilliers launched a fundraiser on GoFundMe following Giles' death.

Giles was dumped near Southern California Hospital in Culver City while her friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola was found brain dead at Kaiser Permanente hospital in West Los Angeles.

The model died on the spot while Cabrales-Arzola was found brain dead.

"Two hours later the same vehicle with two masked men dropped her friend, Hilda off at a different hospital. Hilda currently remains on life support with no brain activity with little possibility of recovery," the page added.

Unfortunately, Cabrales-Arzola eventually died on November 24.

In April, Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's office confirmed Christy Giles and Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola's exact causes of deaths.

The 24-year-old model died due to multiple drug intoxication. Meanwhile, her friend died of the same reason and multiple organ failure.

Giles had a fatal mix of cocaine, fentanyl, ketamine, and gamma-hydroxybutyrate acid (GHB). The latter is referred to as the date rape drug. Meanwhile, ketamine is an anesthetic used by veterinarians but is often misused as a drug.

The authorities detected cocaine and MDMA on Cabrales-Arzola's system.
