WE NEED TO SEE THIS: 'Stranger Things' Star David Harbour Looks Towards 'Euphoria' Star Jacob Elordi To Play Jim Hopper in Spin-Off Series
As the world readies for the Stranger Things spin-off David Harbour has some opinions on who should take on the character of Hopper.
Stranger Things is a mega-hit phenomenon. As all things go, however, it is soon coming to an end. The fifth season is on the horizon, and fans are eager to see how things wrap up for this Vecna-based season. Of course, however, fans are calling out for more of this phenomenon. There is a spin-off series on the way!
A spin-off has been confirmed by the Duffer Brothers, and, with any spin-off, comes some new casting. Jim Harbour, who currently plays Sheriff Jim Hopper on the iconic show, thinks that Euphoria star Jacob Elordi should take on the show.
In an interview with GQ, Harbour shared shared:
"At this point, I think Hopper is a character that can exist independent of me. If they wanna go back in time, forward in time...I'd love to see another actor play Hopper, and see what they can bring to it."
If they are going back in time, we think that Harbour is right on the money when it comes to Elordi. The star has proven his incredible talent, and we think he is more than ready to step into the stranger things universe. Harbour joked of Elordi:
"He could pull off being as handsome as I was at twenty."
We can't wait to see what this spin-off of Stranger Things brings.
