Princess Diana Tragic Fate: Ex-Trainer Reveals Why She Did THIS Unconventional Thing
Princess Diana heartbreakingly dealt with issues as she also became the world's most photographed person when she was still alive.
Through the years, Princess Diana's past portraits still receive positive responses from critics and royal fans due to her exceptional beauty and poise. So aside from being a member of the royal family, her visuals also made her stand out even when she was with the central members of the monarchy.
But her radiant and classy appearance led her to repeat her outfits due to a heartbreaking reason.
The Princess of Wales' confidant recently opened up about the royal's past fashion and explained why she had to wear the same clothes over and over again.
Princess Diana's trainer, Jenni Rivett, told Yahoo's The Royal Box to minimize paparazzi exposure. That way, her pictures would have lesser value.
"I remember one of her strategies was that she was going to wear the same Virgin sweatshirt every single session," Rivett said, as quoted by SheKnows.
That explains why Princess Diana had so many pictures wearing the same clothes.
Princess Diana spoke about it, as well, during her
"But then here was a situation which hadn't ever happened before in history, in the sense that the media were everywhere, and here was a fairy story that everybody wanted to work," Diana said during her Panorama interview with the BBC's Martin Bashir in 1995.
She also said that she had been overwhelmed when she became the most photographed woman in the world.
Princess Diana's Death Was Caused by Paparazzi
Unfortunately, the madness of the paparazzi became uncontrollable that they eventually became the cause of the royal's death.
On the night before her death, Princess Diana and her then-lover, Dodi Fayed, went to the Ritz Hotel in Paris owned by the man's father. They spent some time in the building after going on a vacation at Fayed's yacht in the South of France.
Later on that evening, the two left the Ritz and drove to Fayed's residence near the Arc de Triomphe. Investigators revealed that they had no initial plans of returning to the Ritz hotel as they already planned on spending time outside before heading to dinner.
However, they had to go back to Ritz due to an alarming number of paparazzi.
British investigator Lord John Stevens, who led the inquiry into Diana's death, said: "Because of the attention of the paparazzi during the journey, Dodi al Fayed instructed his chauffeur to drive instead to the Ritz Hotel."
On the wee hours of Aug. 31, 1997, they left Ritz again to go back to Fayed's apartment. But only five minutes after Henri Paul started driving the black Mercedes S280, it collided with a concrete pillar in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel.
Fayed and Paul died on the spot, while Princess Diana eventually died in a hospital.
