This time on the show Adam Mock recommended that Melanie Weir watch 1999s big budget remake of The Mummy starring Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. This is a film Adam really remembered loving when he saw it in theaters back in the day. Let's just say, time is a tricky mistress and he might have chosen poorly.
From CGI that didn't hold up in the late 90s, to the ridiculous use of super fast scarab beetles, and a cartoonish looking villain, let's just say, this is not quite the feast for the eyes director Stephen Sommers thinks it is. Unless, of course, you're talking about the cast of hunky guys or the ever stunning Rachel Weisz. So, strap on your double guns and slap on some sunblock because this is going to be a hot one.
