Angelina Jolie's Real Feelings After Brad Pitt Follows Them To Italy For Twins' Birthday
Angelina Jolie was photographed with her daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt recently in Italy for a fun night out. Other Jolie-Pitt kids weren't spotted.
But it appears that ex-husband Brad Pitt had to go there as well to celebrate with his other children.
The 47-year-old "Maleficent" star and the 58-year-old "Ad Astra" actor are putting aside their dislike for one other as they celebrate the 14th birthday of their twins Knox and Vivienne in Italy.
Jolie was said to be glad that Pitt took the time to attend the twins' birthday party after the brunette bombshell was "stressing" to make sure it occurred before Pitt "stepped up."
According to an insider who talked with Hollywood Life, Jolie is already on a tight schedule while she shoots "Without Blood," but knowing Pitt went to Rome to visit the kids and be there for the twins' birthday makes her feel so much better.
In fact, the fact that the "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" actor made the journey is said to mean a lot to the "Tomb Raider" star.
"She usually goes over herself to ensure the kids receive time with their dad, especially on big occasions like birthdays and holidays," the insider stated.
"However, in this scenario, she was stressed about how to make it all work, so Brad stepping up and making the journey has lifted a great weight off her shoulders; his effort hasn't gone unappreciated."
According to the site, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's contact has been strained since their divorce and court fight, thus the latter's visit to meet Vivienne and Knox left an indelible effect on the former.
Because they're still fighting in court, the former power couple has no contact, and everything between them, such as their children's schedule, is managed by third parties.
According to the insider, Jolie shields her children from all of this and does everything she can to ensure that they have a solid connection with their father, regardless of how she feels about him.
Jolie and Shiloh attended a Maneskin concert two days before Brad Pitt's arrival in Rome, and they appeared comfortable and pleased throughout the excursion.
The mother-daughter pair shared identical smiles and made the night unforgettable.
