AMC's 'Interview With The Vampire' Series Takes To Twitter To Premiere First Teaser Trailer Starring Jacob Anderson

The teaser trailer for AMC's new series Interview with the Vampire has just dropped on Twitter in hopes of getting fans thirsty for more.
Children of the 90s will remember the time Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt amazed audiences when they starred in the film adaptation of Anne Rice's novel Interview with a Vampire (1994), a dark, brooding drama which took fans on a journey through the underworld of vampiric lore. Spawning a less than effective sequel, Queen of the Damned (2002) starring the late singer turned actress Aaliya in her final role.
This new adaptation of Rice's Vampire Chronicles, stars Games of Thrones actor Jacob Anderson in the role of Louis de Pointe du Lac, a depressed vampire who has lived for nearly two-hundred years, only now ready to tell his story to the world with the help of reporter Daniel Molloy played by Eric Bogosian. After losing his family, Louie's sadness drives him to be reborn as a vampire by the dastardly charismatic Lestat (Sam Reid), only to find that the world of the undead is as charming an existence as it is crushing.

The short clip begins with Molloy conducting the interview with the immortal by asking:
"How long have you been dead?"
With a quick turn reveal of our main character Louis standing before a picture window, only getting a glimpse of his visage, then fading to the title card. Little else is known about the show at this time.
Interview With The Vampire is slated to drop sometime in the Fall of 2022 on AMC and AMC+.
