Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck's Wedding NOT Yet Over Due To Surprising Plan
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez still want to have the grandest wedding after their recent ceremony.
This month, Bennifer officially got married over the weekend in a small ceremony after obtaining a marriage license. Although they wanted to have an intimate first wedding, the couple aims to have a larger wedding celebration with their friends and family.
On Sunday, the 52-year-old actress revealed in her On the JLo newsletter that she and the "Justice League" star got married at A Little White Chapel.
"So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben's closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we'll wear for the rest of our lives," she wrote.
After the ceremony, a source revealed to PEOPLE that they plan to have a bigger party soon.
Although they do not have a honeymoon yet, Lopez proclaimed that every day is a honeymoon with Affleck.
The insider added, "Ever since they started dating again, Jennifer has truly believed that this is it. She is looking forward to growing old with Ben. She is very happy and content with Ben. She couldn't ask for anything else. She thinks it's all perfect."
In the same newsletter, Lopez opened up about how she and Affleck are the only important ones in marriage since their love is real.
Jennifer Lopez To Use Ben Affleck's Last Name
The plans for a grand wedding might give way to the singer's plan to use the actor's last name.
In 2003, the "Ben & Jen: A Dateline Special" was released during the couple's first engagement. At that time, Lopez told Pat O'Brien that she wanted to take the "Justice League" actor's last name.
"A week after you're married, what will your name be?" O'Brien asked, to which she replied, "I think I'm going to stay with Jennifer Lopez, but my name will be Jennifer Affleck, obviously."
O'Brien agreed with her and said that Jennifer Affleck would be a good name.
Their marriage finally happened nearly two decades since they began dating for the first time. They met on the set of "Gigli" and got engaged afterward.
However, they broke up in January 2004 and went on to marry different people.
After two decades, they reconnected unexpectedly and got engaged before tying the knot.
