Jay Ellis Receives Hate on Instagram After Posting Pictures of His Wedding with Nina Sinclair: Twitter Comes to His Defense!

Jay Ellis and Nina Sinclair tied the knot earlier this month, and Twitter users are shutting down hate comments from all fronts
It seems to be wedding season! Just yesterday, we were talking about Jennifer Lopez's newsletter, in which she shared that she and long-time on-again-off-again partner Ben Affleck were married in Las Vegas. These Las Vegas weddings seem to be quickly becoming a trend among entertainment's elite (most of them, of course, scheduling a larger ceremony down the line.)
Congrats to Jay Ellis and Nina Senicar who recently married at a beautiful garden ceremony in Tuscany. He shared the news on IG saying, "July 9th, 2022... Per sempre 💙" His Top Gun: Maverick co-stars Glen Powell, Greg Tarzan Davis and Danny Ramirez were also in attendance 📸 pic.twitter.com/ebaqdDjInn

Jay Ellis and Nina Sinclair beat the Las Vegas rush, instead doing a big wedding in Tuscany on July 9th. The Top Gun: Maverick star had many of his fellow cast members at the ceremony; Pictures recently posted show an absolutely beautiful event.
However, Ellis eventually turned comments on his Instagram post off after receiving hateful comments for marrying a white woman.
Twitter, however, is coming to the Insecure star's defense. One user even spoke out in support of the actor's decision to turn off comments on his Instagram post. He wrote, "I respect Jay Ellis turning off his comments. Bro proactively closed off a channel of disrespect that could be aimed at him, his wife and his happiness. Protect your peace."
Another pointed out that we, as a world, have a lot more pressing matters to focus on, writing, "Everyone knew Jay Ellis wasn't married to a black woman. Damn, can we focus on the government and this inflation and women's rights crisis? Folks always worried about the wrong thing. Let that man live." An *excellent* point.

Y'all harassing Jay Ellis on his Instagram photos of his wedding just because he married a white woman is a little gross for me.

She doesn't deserve that and neither does he.
