Chris Nassif's Legacy

Nassif famously graduated from USC. Shortly after getting his degree, he opened CNA and Associates Talent Agency in 1983.

He then helped several renowned stars like Luke Perry, Jay Hernandez, and Ricky Martin to launch their respective careers, including Perry's deal for "Beverly Hills, 90210."

Aside from the aforesaid stars, Nassif's agency also represented Robert Foster, Michael Rapaport, Molly Shannon, and Fran Drescher.

He expanded his network by merging CAN with Premiere Artists Talent agency in 2000. They formed the Diverse Talent Group (DTG) to make way for Austin Butler, Michael Wetherly, James Van Der Beek, and Chrissy Metz in Hollywood.

Nassif also partnered with Richard Brandes to launch Insurrection Entertainment which released the movies "Monster Mutt," "Who Stole My Daughter," "Jeepers Creepers 3," and "American Federale."

"As the home entertainment landscape continues to quickly evolve, we are thrilled to partner with a company with direct access to both traditional distribution channels as well as their own OTT network," Nassif said.

Before his death, the company had already entered the pre-production of a new film in the "Piranha" franchise.

The milestones he achieved led him to become the youngest man ever to establish a top talent agency. He was only 22 when he entered the industry.
