Apple TV+ Throws A Tailgate To Celebrate 'Ted Lasso' Season 2, and It Looks Like THE Best Time!
Everyone's favorite sports-team-based TV show (that is more accurately about mental health, kindness, and forgiveness,) had a celebration last night; Apple TV+ hosted a tailgate event to celebrate the second season of the Emmy nominated series Ted Lasso.
Last year, the show swept in both the Emmy nominations and the awards. This year is shaping up to be no different.
The Richmond team recieved twenty nominations for this year's Emmy Awards; Between this year and last year, the show has been nominated for 52 Emmys, making it the most nominated comedy in Apple TV+ history.
Earlier this week, they celebrated in the most team spirited way possible: a tailgate.
Cast favorites were present at this fun-filled event, including, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Sarah Niles, Toheeb Jimoh, Cristo Fernández, Kola Bokinni, James Lance, and Sam Richardson. Can you name a better guest list?
Some pictures of the event have come out, showing the cast bonding together with all the true joy and spirit that we see first hand on the show. It is so nice to know that all of that love and human kindness is real both on and off the field (and on and off the screen!)
We can't wait to see if Ted Lasso will make its way to victory at this year's Emmy Awards, and we can't wait to see what season three of this excellent show has in store.
