'Bridgerton' Season Three Has Started Filming and Three New Actors Have Joined the Ton
Bridgerton season three has officially started filming, and there are three new cast members to show for it.
Don't worry memebers of the ton! The return of Bridgerton is in motion. The third season of Bridgerton has started filming, and we could not be more excited. This season will be focusing on the love story between Colin Bridgerton, who will continue being played by Luke Newton, and Penelope Bridgerton, with Nicola Coughlan carrying on in the role. For fans that have been following the show, we are excited to see this romance come to fruition as we have watched it slowly build over the past two years. This already makes the third season different from the others because the relationships in seasons one and two were reliant on the introduction of a new cast member.
SPEAKING OF NEW CAST MEMBERS: season three has THREE.
Three new cast members will be joining the show this season. These actors are Daniel Francis, Sam Phillips, and James Phoon. Details of the show are being kept significantly under wraps (unless, of course, you have read the books.) Even the stars of the show have been kept in the dark about specific plot details. Back in June of this year, Coughlan told Variety:
"It's funny because I always wanted to be an actor. I started doing that when I was super young, but I never saw myself as like the lead of romantic drama...It was just not on my list of things that I thought I would ever be doing. So it's quite mad now to just be in that position, and on one of the biggest shows ever. It's amazing...I think, because we've had two seasons of build up, it's probably going to be the former. I haven't read the scripts. I've just been given an overview."
We can't wait to hear more all about all things Bridgerton when it comes to light.
