Meghan Markle Branded 'Explosive,' 'High-Maintenance' By New Book
A new book discusses Meghan Markle's alleged toxic conduct prior to joining the British royal family.
According to Tom Bower's book "Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors," the mom-of-two frequently made people weep because of her passive-aggressive tone and explosive, unexpected, and manipulative techniques to get her way.
According to the Daily Mail, the author, who admitted that his inside information came from people who loathe the Duchess of Sussex, references one business associate who characterized her as the "most awful" person they had to work with.
Bower also stated that he obtained the most of the book's shocking claims from those who disliked her because she had cautioned those close to her not to speak to him.
Bower told "Good Morning Britain" on Thursday that it was evident to her friends and coworkers not to talk to him, so he struggled to obtain enough people to talk to him. He was able to speak to roughly 80 people, though.
Bower responded, "Because I sorted through, I never put in material that isn't factual and can't be confirmed," when asked how the book can be deemed an unbiased account given that the individuals he spoke to already dislike the Duchess.
The book also discusses Meghan Markle's 2016 visit to London, during which she reportedly "went bananas" after being booked into a five-star hotel with a caged parrot on display.
At the time, the former "Suits" star was in London to promote a book based on her lifestyle blog, "The Tig."
Her talent agency allegedly secured her opulent accommodations "with difficulty" in exchange for an appearance in the hotel's magazine and social media posts. Meghan, however, allegedly declined to remain and checked out of the hotel after passing a parrot en route to her room.
Her agency then booked a new room at the SoHo hotel.
Following the event, employees at the agency observed Meghan Markle's stated attitude was "unpredictable."
"She phoned the agency frequently to request reservations at restaurants or activities in advance of her arrival in London. She would inevitably cancel or adjust her needs."
The now-wife of Prince Harry is also said to have directed her vitriol at her talent agency over his choice to include a chapter regarding sexual desire in her book.
According to the book "Revenge," she appeared to pleasure in humiliating individuals.
Another allegation alleges that after being hired for a film shoot in London in 2015, the then-actress sought first-class flights and luxurious accommodations.
Meghan Markle was described as "high-maintenance" by one of her co-stars in the film.
