'Today' Fans Want Savannah Guthrie To Be Fired After Doing THIS To Hoda Kotb
"Today" bosses are being encouraged to fire Savannah Guthrie from the show after she "snapped" at co-host Hoda Kotb.
Viewers of the popular morning show watched Savannah react in an episode last week during a heated culinary segment.
Hoda, 57, and Savannah, 50, have made history as the morning show's first-ever female co-anchor combo since disgraced Matt Lauer was fired in 2018.
However, in recent weeks, fans and social media users have questioned the pair's on-screen dynamics.
Savannah hasn't posted on Instagram in eight days, and her last post was on July 16, when she uploaded a photo with her family.
Her profile has been silent since then, but she did upload an on-set photo on her Twitter page three days ago.
"The Linda Skeens' Strawberry Jam was a fan favorite, right Savannah Guthrie?" she wrote three days earlier.
She quoted it and then commented, beside a photo of herself holding the jam, "She is the finest."
However, the only online post she made in a week was a nasty response to her, "Too bad you're not."
Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb's culinary segment on the July 15 program was fraught with conflict.
Hoda stepped over to the table and said, "Wait - are we done?" as Elizabeth Heiskell was speaking and Savannah was making a salad.
Savannah's response was, "Yes, that's all. Now, let's go on. We'll go on because we don't have time for it."
Fans pounced on Savannah Guthrie, per The Sun, with one individual mocking her on Twitter, writing, "She can be replaced at any time. She's a fake and not very pleasant person."
Another user said that Savannah is "rude, loud, often interrupting and talking over everyone."
"I adore everyone on the program, but she must leave!"
Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb Feud
Savannah Guthrie's firing has been called for following claims that she and co-host Hoda Kotb are fighting behind the scenes.
Several sources revealed on-set friction between the two journalists, which is generating a tense work atmosphere not only for them but for everyone involved.
Though neither has commented on the claim, a body language expertbelieves they are at odds because their personalities are mismatched.
"For years, their personality contrasts have formed the ideal balance on the program," Patti Wood revealed.
"However, stress causes people to go to their personality extremes, thus Savanna exhibits greater perfectionism, while Hoda exhibits a more 'I want to have fun,' easygoing attitude."
Savannah, according to the expert, appears to be the group's "grown-up" and "parent" figure, whereas Hoda is all fun and games.
