Through her portrayal of the bohemian guitarist Phoebe Buffay on Friends, Lisa Kudrow became one of television's most beloved actors. Even as the show has ended, she is still one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood today - just like the rest of the cast members.

"Friends" is not the only show on her portfolio though. She continued acting on numerous television programs, online series, and films after the show ended. Lisa Kudrow has a net worth of $90 million as of 2022.

This makes her the fifth wealthiest "Friends" cast member.

Bio, Age

Lisa Valerie Kudrow was born in Encino, Los Angeles, on July 30, 1963. Her father, Lee, is a doctor and her mother, Nedra, is a travel agent. She grew up with David, Derick, and Helene as siblings.

She attended Portola Middle School and Taft High School, from which she graduated. Lisa, intending to follow in her father's footsteps, studied biology at Vassar College.

Her first career goals did not include acting. After receiving her bachelor's degree, she worked for eight years on her father's research team.

"The Groundlings," a sketch and improv comedy school, provided Kudrow with her first acting job. As a comedian, she joined many comedy groups, which helped her land small roles in 1980s and 1990s television sitcoms.

Son Not a Fan?

While the world is bowled over by Lisa Kudrow and her comedic and acting talent, her son is said to be a different story. Kudrow herself said she found it annoying that her son does not like her as much as the other cast members on "Friends/"

Kudrow, 58, revealed the unfriendly remark during an interview with Seth Meyers on his late-night television show.

Kudrow states that her 24-year-old son, Julian Murray Stern, was taken aback by the humor.

"He said, 'It's actually really funny, and I mean, the guys are so funny.' And he's like, 'No, I mean, you're funny, too.' And never in my life have I wanted to tell my own kid, like, 'F - - k you!' "

Kudrow said that she didn't actually say the word - but it did cross er mind.

Kudrow also said that while her kid is not a "Friends" superfan, he is a fan of her other program, "The Comeback," which he binge-watched during his COVID-19 quarantine.
