An unsealed court document has revealed a more intricate plot in the defamation case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.

The Daily Beast reports that the "Aquaman" star could have asked for half of Depp's $33 million salary for his role in the fourth installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean."

It was revealed in unsealed documents provided for the sensational trial that Heard refused to accept a divorce settlement from Depp.

Documents show that Heard ignored her lawyers' advice to pursue her ex-husband for the maximum amount of money she was entitled to when she filed for divorce from him in 2016.

Because the couple was still married during the filming, it has been suggested that she could have received half of Depp's $33 million.

However, the publication reported that she did not seek the amount, stating that she was "incredibly true to her word that this is not about the money."

Unfortunately, a judge refused to allow that evidence to be presented during Depp's defamation lawsuit against Heard.

The Daily Beast also reported that over 6,000 documents in the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation case had been unsealed.

Some of these include Heard's concern that her ex-husband would post nude pictures of her on the internet and the exclusion of Marilyn Manson.

A Virginia jury ruled in favor of the "Edward Scissorhands" star in his lawsuit against his ex-wife two months ago.

After three days of deliberation, the jury unanimously decided that Heard defamed Depp when she referred to herself as a victim of domestic abuse.

She was then ordered to pay $15 million in damages, with $10 million in compensatory and $5 million in punitive damages.

When Depp's former lawyer Adam Waldman called her abuse allegations a hoax, Heard was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages.

According to TMZ, Amber Heard may be forced to sell her Yucca Valley home for $1.05 million because she does not have enough cash to pay Johnny Depp $13 million.

According to the outlet, the blonde bombshell may have purchased the California desert home in 2019 through an anonymous trust linked to her.

According to reports, Judge Penny Azcarte refused to allow Heard's lawyers to submit a conversation they had during the divorce trial.

The actress's attorney attempted to pursue what they perceived to be "tens of millions of dollars" she was supposed to receive from Depp's "Pirates of the Caribbean" profits. Heard has been rejected.
