'The Real' Host Adrienne Bailon Says Britney Spears 'Can't Hold A Conversation' [VIDEO]
Adrienne Bailon didn't have the kindest words to say about former X Factor judge, Britney Spears.
During an episode of the talk show The Real, she credited Spears with having the "ultimate breakdown" and encouraged her to "call Miley Cyrus' stylist." The former Cheetah Girl also spoke about her past encounter with the popstar during X Factor.
"I've worked with her on X Factor," Bailon said during the show. "And I'm not going to lie to you guys... She can't hold a conversation."
Bailon was one of the hosts of X Factor's Pepsi PreShow Live, along with Canadian VJ Jesse Giddings and MTV correspondent Jim Cantiello, during season 2. During the second season, which premiered in 2012, Spears sat at the judging table with Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and L.A. Reid.
"They had someone that feeds her what she's supposed to say," Bailon continued.
But, not all the talk show's co-hosts had negative words to say about the Ooh La La singer.
"This what I hear, behind the scenes she's trying to get it together," The Real's other co-host Tamar Braxton said about Spears.
The Love and War singer said she's heard that Spears doesn't allow drinking and smoking on her tour.
"I feel like that's appropriate, especially if you're trying stay clean and stay on the right path," Braxton said.
During a previous episode of the show, Bailon also spoke about her ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian. She recalled an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where Kardashian read an email presumably sent from Bailon's new boyfriend. In reality, there wasn't a new man in Bailon's life.
"It was not written from a boyfriend," Bailon said during that episode. "That was written by me and my girls sitting on the sofa one day deciding to ourselves 'well how do we make him stop calling me?' And we thought to ourselves, well the only way to make this guy maybe not call me anymore is if he thinks I have someone new."
The Real also includes hosts Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai.
