Wendy Williams Causes Friends, Family To Worry Once Again -- 'She's Regressed Like Crazy'
Wendy Williams claims to be married, but her management claims she is not.
Her friends and family are becoming increasingly concerned as a result of her newest strange claims.
With many people wondering if she is married to a New York Police Department officer called Henry, as she just revealed to Hollywood Unlocked's Jason Lee, her friends are becoming increasingly concerned that she is surrounded by individuals who don't know what's best for her.
Those close to the former "Wendy Williams Show" host are allegedly concerned that she is being permitted to return to work and media appearances before she is even healthy enough.
In fact, a source told Page Six that Wendy is "very off" and that "it's not the same."
"She's regressed a lot, and her family in Florida is worried about her."
Wendy's brother, Tommy Williams, also talked with the magazine, calling her recent interviews "very sad."
"I've been with Wendy since the beginning, and she's never talked like this, but I don't think it's her fault," he said. "It's a dangerous scenario."
Tommy also stated that he recently chatted with Wendy but made no mention of a husband.
"I believe it's bizarre and really unsettling," adding about the disturbing interviews.
Wendy Williams has been in a downhill spiral since leaving her long-running program in 2021 for what would be its last season.
After her comeback was repeatedly postponed, the show was cancelled in June amid allegations that she was dealing with her mental health.
Despite the fact that the 58-year-old TV personality has done multiple interviews since then, her words have left friends, family, and fans puzzled and concerned for Wendy's well-being.
Many people were taken aback on Tuesday when Jason Lee reported on his podcast that Wendy had provided updates on her life as well as "wonderful news about her new marriage."
Jason, the CEO of Hollywood Unlocked, shared a recording from an alleged phone discussion between him and the former daytime diva, in which she doubled down on the idea that she married her putative spouse after her manager, William Selby, told newspapers that her claims of marriage were "inaccurate."
Will stated that she is not married but is "enthusiastic about a new relationship," and that she may have gotten carried away in talking.
