Anne Heche's status after her involvement in a fiery car accident has been revealed.

Multiple news outlets confirmed that Heche was involved in a car accident that left her with burns and injuries on Friday. It reportedly occurred in the Mar Vista area in Los Angeles.

Days after worrying fans for being in critical condition, a representative revealed Heche's condition to The Hollywood Reporter.

Although the accident was indeed near-fatal, Heche's representative assured that she is now in stable condition but remains in the hospital.

"Anne is currently in stable condition. Her family and friends ask for your thoughts and prayers and to respect her privacy during this difficult time," the statement detailed.

The actress was intubated when she first got admitted to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the tenant of the house where Heche crashed her car into "was fortunate to survive" it. Lynne Mishele, whose home was destroyed in the crash, fortunately, did not sustain any injury.

Her neighbor, Lynne Bernstein, told PEOPLE that Mishele was in shock before she was able to notice the vehicle.

What Happened to Anne Heche?

The update came out after FOX LA reported that the actress had been identified as the one who crashed into a Mar Vista home and sparked a fire. Firefighters responded to the scene and found a 2020 Mini Copper causing a massive fire.

They eventually pulled the car out of the home after extinguishing the flames.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Fire Department said that the vehicle stopped within the 738-square-foot house. It caused damage to the properties and heavy smoke around the area.

"The vehicle became engulfed in flames and the driver was transported to a local hospital by LAFD," Los Angeles Police Public Information Officer Jeff Lee told CNN.

David Manpearl reportedly attempted to save the actress but it was "impossible." It took the responders more than an hour before being able to be out of her burning car.

It has since been confirmed that the authorities are investigating the recent event and a previous "misdemeanor hit and run" incident.

Meanwhile, Mischele's neighbors John and Jennifer Durand created a GoFundMe to help Mishele cover the losses.

"Lynne lives with her beautiful pups Bree and Rueban, and tortoise Marley in the Mar Vista home that was destroyed this week by a car driving into the home at a high rate of speed, catching the house on fire. Lynne and her family very narrowly escaped physical harm, and for that we are very, very grateful," they said in the description.
