Johnny Depp Returns as the Face of Dior with THIS Whopping Amount
Actor Johnny Depp makes a comeback as Dior's brand ambassador following the defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard.
According to E! News, the veteran actor has re-signed his contract with the French luxury brand. Dior's relationship with Depp is going strong, as the beauty brand posted photos of the actor during one of his recent concerts in Paris with musician Jeff Beck on their official Instagram.
The Guardian reports that based on his rumored salary for the Sauvage advertisement, Dior will pay the 59-year-old actor between 3 million to 5 million dollars as their brand ambassador. The veteran actor had been a victim of cancel culture when Disney removed Depp from "The Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise. Meanwhile, Amber Heard resumes her role in "Aquaman 2" amidst controversy surrounding the ex-couple.
Following the end of the long-running defamation trial, the "Edward Scissorhands" actor expressed that he felt like "the jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled."
"This was about restoring his reputation - and he's done that." Depp's attorney said. "It was a total win for Johnny." In his lawsuit against Heard, the jury paid Depp $15 million in damages after the results.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star's history with Dior dates way back to 2015, when the actor released his first advertisement for a perfume created by François Demachy, which launched in September 2015.
Fans expressed their support for Johnny after winning the defamation trial, and took to Twitter to praise the loyal luxury brand through hashtags #ThankYouDior and #DiorSauvage
The Wall Street Journal reported that Dior's sales "skyrocketed" amidst Depp and Heard's defamation trial, and that Dior's "Sauvage" is now the second most popular fragrance in the world.
