Wendy Williams Finally Gains Bank Accounts After 8 Months?
Has Wendy Williams gained access to her $20 million wealth yet?
During her legal battle with Wells Fargo, her bank accounts were restricted in January.
Despite anticipation that the cash would be released last month, it appears that she is still waiting for them eight months later.
According to The Sun's sources, the former presenter of "The Wendy Williams Show" is still barred from accessing them.
Her accountants were placed under the supervision of a financial guardian after her bank alleged in court records that she was the victim of exploitation or undue influence, as well as dementia.
Wendy, who was supposed to be able to access her accounts in July, is still unable to do so, as is her American Express card, which appears to have become entangled in the procedures.
Wendy's crew hasn't been paid since the accounts were stopped, according to a source, and her manager is still new, but there are already employees who have worked for her the entire time and haven't received their pay since the accounts were closed.
"People have been floating their services to Wendy for months now," they continued.
Another source said that Wendy Williams is still receiving a regular allowance from her financial guardian, who is in charge of her finances, but it is still not a large sum of money.
They clarified that it's not "like Wendy Williams would need to get by" in New York.
Her manager has been paying all of her personal expenses lately.
According to a third source, her manager, Will Selby, is also attempting to figure out how to assist her in gaining access to her Wells Fargo accounts.
"Will has been attempting to demonstrate that the people who were previously involved with Wendy's finances are no longer a member of her team," they added.
Will is also apparently attempting to show that Wendy Williams has already severed links with some people and that she will be able to access her money at some time.
Because court papers in the case have been sealed since the problem was transferred to guardianship court, it is still unclear what transpired that Wendy did not receive her money as planned last month.
However, there have been doubts about whether her behavior has had an influence on the case.
Wendy Williams recently stated that she is married to an NYPD officer called Henry. Nonetheless, her management later refuted her declaration, claiming that she's just starting a new relationship and may be getting ahead of herself.
