Tamar Braxton 'Love & War' Album Cover; 14-Song Tracklist Revealed & Release Date [LISTEN]
Singer Tamar Braxton released the cover of her new album, Love and War Monday.
The 36-year-old Braxton Family Values reality star is featured on the cover in a fierce photo. The album cover is painted red with the words "Love and War."
After unveiling the cover, the sister of Toni Braxton revealed the tracklisting via iTunes.
The 14 tracks include hit-singles Love and War, The One, and a party anthem, Hot Sugar.
"It's the music that I've always wanted to do," Tamar told Rap-Up TV. "It's a true definition of who I am as a person. It's upbeat, it's fun, it's opinionated, it's raw, and it's great."
The album is now on Itunes for preorder, but it will officially hit stores on September 3.
"I'm so excited about it. This is the album that I always wanted to make," Tamar told Cleveland's Z107.9. "It best describes Tamar as a person."
Back in January, Tamar and her husband/manager Vincent Herbert appeared on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club and revealed that she wanted her next single to be Hot Sugar, but suddenly changed her mind due to the success of Love & War. She confirmed that her album will not feature any other artists.
"I'm really happy with. After all the hard work, to see people feeling the record...It just feels good... It's Tamar's moment," Herbert said.
Tamar and Herbert recently welcomed baby boy Logan in June.
During a recent interview with Good Morning America, Tamar confessed that she struggled being the perfect first-time mother.
"I loved him, you know," she said. "But I wasn't like 'oh, gosh, yes my baby, ooh,' you know. It wasn't that. It was more like what do I do now, you know?"
Tamar is gearing up to join John Legend on his tour, "made for Love," which begins October 20.
