Anne Heche Extensive Drug Use Brought Up After Fiery Crash Investigation Findings
TMZ reported Anne Heche was under the influence of cocaine during the time of her car crash and perhaps fentanyl as well.
But the latter drug may have been administered to her in the hospital to reduce the pain she was experiencing.
But now, her drug use is being questioned, or if she had been a frequent user of illegal substances, as court records acquired by Radar Online, her ex, James Tupper, has accused her of probable "extensive drug usage," claiming that he lost $450,000 of their money due to dodgy dealings.
Atlas Heche Tupper, 13, is shared by the 53-year-old actress and the 57-year-old entrepreneur.
They never married and dissolved their 10-year romance in 2017 when things became too difficult.
Tupper was accused by Heche of trying to sell their Los Angeles property behind her back.
After their separation, they first agreed to the unique arrangement of living in the house separately, exchanging weeks each Atlas' custody period.
Tupper, according to the "Six Days, Seven Nights" actress, betrayed their vow and changed the code and keys to their house. She intended to show the property to inspectors and then sell it.
Heche then raced to court in November 2019, requesting an emergency judgement so that she and her kid would not be kept out of their house in the future.
In his answer, the "Big Little Lies" star refuted Heche's assertions, telling the court that he hadn't changed the code in years and that he hadn't altered the locks.
The housing and drug charges were not the only ones leveled against the former couple, who have been fighting for custody of their kid for several years.
Tupper's remark on Anne Heche's probable drug usage is noteworthy in light of the horrific vehicle accident she was engaged in last Friday.
The actress crashed her automobile into an apartment complex, causing her vehicle and belongings to catch fire.

According to Heche's spokeswoman, she went into a coma following the collision and is now in "critical care."
However, before to the incident, she was captured on camera driving erratically while holding what seemed to be an alcohol bottle in her cup holder.
The Los Angeles Police Department subsequently got a warrant for Heche's blood, and she may face a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence hit-and-run if she was truly drunk or intoxicated at the time of the incident.
The New York Post reported that Anne Heche was characterized as "coherent" 21 minutes before the incident as she smiled for a photo while buying for a $125 red-haired wig and supplies from salon owner Richard Glass.
However now, it was reported that it's possible she may not even survive her injuries and it is believed she is only on life support to figure out which organs can be harvested.
