Did Joe Jonas Get Plastic Surgery? Star Admits to Doing THIS To Maintain Youthful Look
Joe Jonas has been in the industry since he was a teenager and many fans are wondering how he managed to maintain his youthful glow through the years; did he get plastic surgery to maintain his young appearance?
According to Daily Mail UK, the 33-year-old star has admitted to getting injections to smooth out any fine lines on his face to make him look younger.
The former Disney actor collaborated with a cosmetic injectable brand that aims to promote skin care for men.
The process was a non-invasive procedure, meaning Jonas didn't go under the knife or get any artificial plastic surgery because everything can be done using injections.
In an interview with People Magazine, Jonas wants to break barriers and open up the discussion about skincare and grooming routine for men because it appears that the conversation feels like a taboo topic.
"We're all getting older and part of that is being comfortable [in our skin]," he said.
The DNCE frontman added that men could be open and honest about skin care routines rather than shy away from "speaking the truth."
Joe Jonas Opens Up About His Anti-Aging Routine
Elsewhere in the interview, the Jonas Brothers member said he cares a lot on what he puts in his body, especially when it comes to any aesthetic treatments.
After speaking to the brand he's currently promoting and to his health care provider, he decided to give injectables a shot.
The non-invasive procedure also gave him confidence as it smooths out the scar between his eyebrows.
"I liked that it relieved the area a little bit and I was like, 'Okay, this is great,' without it being too much for my liking. I appreciated that it wasn't over the top. It's very light," he added.
Joe Jonas is All About Breaking Stigmas
At first, it wasn't easy for Jonas to open up about skincare and hair routines because of the judgemental people around.
However, he surrounds himself with people who support him in all of his decisions, including how he expresses himself to the public by wearing clothes, painting nails, and more.
He believes that the stigma surrounding men doing things that used to be taboo is "fading" and he likes the concept of men exploring more.
"Guys are more openly wearing makeup, and it's great to see. It's like, do whatever you want, you know? It's a beautiful generation that we're living in," he said.
