Their Difficult Journey to Parenthood
Back in 2018, Bailon shared that she had challenges getting pregnant. "I think that as an audience we should be sensitive to the fact that everybody doesn't get pregnant right away," she told The Real. "I think for myself I thought it would happen so easily for me, and it just hasn't happened that way."
Finally, it looks like things finally turned out well for the couple this year. "If you have followed our love story... you know that our journey to baby has been very challenging. But God is true to His word and His promises." The TV personality wrote on her post. Adrienne detailed their struggles to have a baby and that she and her husband have "quietly prayed while sitting on this most magnificent secret for the last 9 months,"
"He is worth every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage." She wrote. "All we feel is joy and overwhelming love & gratitude."
Past Criticism About Their Marriage?
It seems like it was just a year ago that Adrienne gave a clapback to a comment that did not sit right on her previous posts.
"5 years & no baby? That definitely sounds like a crisis," a user commented on Bailon's Instagram post about their wedding anniversary, to which the star replied:
"Nope! Me happy with the man I chose with or without a baby-is a beautiful thing lol. You commenting this (laughing emoji) sounds like you are in crisis." She added, "Bendito." which means "blessed." in Spanish.
Now, the actress is on cloud nine with their newest addition to the family. Adrienne and Israel began dating in early 2016 and then got engaged in August after six months of dating. The pair got married in Paris in November 2016. Bailon has also become the stepmother of Houghton's four children from his first marriage with Meleasa Houghton.
