Ellen DeGeneres 'Reacts' to NOT Being Invited to Ex Anne Heche's Funeral
Ellen DeGeneres has chosen to celebrate the love she currently has rather than mourn the one she lost - celebraing her love for Portia de Rossi instead of being sad that she was allegedly not invited to her ex Anne Heche's funeral.
Not that there's any doubt that she's move past from Anne Heche and has been for the past 14 years, just solely and passionately in love with Portia de Rossi. Still, given her ex Heche's unfortunate passing, everyone's eyes on the comedian talk show host once more.
On their 14th wedding anniversary, which occurred just days after her ex-girlfriend Anne Heche's death, the former talk show host, aged 64, paid tribute to her wife Portia de Rossi. DeGeneres did not hold back, presenting a beautiful video montage of her life with de Rossi and expressing how wonderful it is to be in love. "It is pleasant to be adored. It is profound to comprehend. I love you, @portiaderossi. Happy 14! " she captioned the video.
The former "Ellen DeGeneres Show" host posted a clip of her and the actress' most memorable moments on her now-defunct daytime talk show on Instagram to show how much de Rossi adores her and vice versa.
The clip depicted the couple becoming goofy during an apple-picking competition and the "Not So Newlywed" game, as well as a more emotional section in which de Rossi, 49, presented DeGeneres with her Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund.
The anniversary and tweet follow Radar Online's exclusive report that DeGeneres will not attend Heche's burial. In particular, Anne's funeral will take place, and Ellen was not invited. Only close family and friends are invited. It will be small and private, according to our sources.
Heche's automobile smashed into a house and caught fire, causing her to go into a coma. After a week, he was taken off life support after falling into a coma.
The host's name was linked to almost every report about Heche's accident and eventual death. People cannot forget that DeGeneres and Heche shared a colorful history together, being one of the few out Hollywood couples in the late 90s.
DeGEheres expressed her sorrow to her ex's family via social media at the time of Heche's passing. She tweeted, "Today is a terrible day. I am sending my love to Anne's children, family, and friends."
Recently, the 911 call revealed horrifying details of the tragedy, including the fact that numerous neighbors attempted to rescue the actress from her burning vehicle, but were unsuccessful.
De Rossi and DeGeneres wed in August 2008 in Los Angeles. A source told Page Six exclusively at the time that the modest ceremony had only twenty guests.
